Our view of the world is determined by our life experiences and the things we are told, from childhood to the present day. The way we interpret this information can affect us deeply, shaping our core beliefs and values. In some cases, this can develop into attitudes and behaviours that are detrimental to ourselves and to our relationships with others.

 

Unlike some talking therapies where you might find yourself repeatedly reliving trauma; NLP (Neuro Linguistic Programming) goes straight to the core to allow a swift transformation without dwelling on painful experiences.

With NLP tools and techniques, I can help set you on a path to empowerment. Whether your needs relate to confidence building, emotional healing, resolution of internal or external conflict, fears and phobias, or a general lack of focus and direction; you will learn strategies that inspire you, and enable you to make positive changes.

My one-to-one coaching is tailored to your needs.

What's the format for the sessions? 

Coaching sessions are conducted remotely via Zoom or telephone, so that you can be based anywhere, and in an environment that makes you feel safe and comfortable.

  1. We'll have a 15 minute call to find out if we have the chemistry to work together

  2. Your first session will be a Free 45 minute Discovery Session to help define your outcomes and identify the blocks to achieving them

  3. We'll begin the transformation work to help you rapidly break through your limitations

Please note: I cannot predict how many sessions you will need, but it's a good idea to prepare for at least 3 hours to make good progress towards a big goal. I will work as hard as I can to help you breakthrough as quickly as possible.

Before I learnt hypnotherapy, I thought it would be the sort of thing you might see on variety shows or in magic acts where people are made to quack like a duck. I was relieved to discover that this isn't the case at all. It is in fact a form of deep relaxation, that provides soothing imagery and sensations to help you combat the challenges or symptoms you want to overcome.

 

Hypnotherapy encourages your body to activate its natural relaxation response, slowing breathing, lowering blood pressure, and instilling an overall sense of well-being.

 

When you are hypnotised, your attention is highly focused. This makes you more likely to listen and respond to suggestions for behaviour changes; such as eating a healthy diet, getting more sleep, or quitting an unwanted habit such as smoking.

With hypnotherapy, I can help you resolve a large variety of issues, including: anxiety, lack of confidence, smoking, procrastination, anger management, relationship issues.

The key points to remember about hypnotherapy are:

  • You are always in control of the session, and can snap out of the trance at any time, if you need to

  • You cannot be made to say, do or reveal anything against your will

  • You allow yourself to go into the trance, to the level you are comfortable with

  • You are aware, and able to recall what is said and done in the session, just as you would from an ordinary conversation

  2. Your first session will be a Free 45 minute Discovery Session to help clarify the issue(s) you'd like to resolve. We'll focus briefly on the history of this issue, what you've tried previously, what triggers the condition; and what you'd like to achieve. 

  3. In follow up sessions, we'll discuss progress and go into trance to carry on making the changes you want

Please note:

  • Every individual is different.

  • You might experience full and complete change in just 1 session.

  • You may experience gradual change over a number of sessions leading to resolution. 

  • It is likely that you will need at least 2 sessions, but I will endeavour to provide real, lasting, and sustainable change in as few sessions as possible.

  • Do not use hypnotherapy if you have psychosis or certain types of personality disorder, as it could make your condition worse.

  • Check with a GP first if you have got a diagnosed personality disorder.
